Superficially Spreading Keloids
Treatment of superficially spreading keloid is quite challenging. These keloids grow and spread over a wide area of the skin; and if they occur over the joints, they can often result in limitations of the range of motion of the joints.
SCARFORMULA® FOR Superficially Spreading Keloids
Based on our current understanding and laboratory research, topical usage and application of Panax Ginseng Cream is a logical choice for Superficially Spreading and Extensive keloids. Use ScarFormula
® on the keloids and the surrounding skin only when the skin is dry and there is no oozing or leaking from the keloids. Avoid applying the cream to keloids that are infected or have been otherwise injured or are open and oozing. Start using the cream on the sites where you have the most itching or burning and assess your response to treatment.
We suggest using ScarFormula
® twice per day for at least eight weeks. For Superficially Spreading Keloids, you can also take supplemental oral Panax ginseng in conjunction with topical ScarFormula
®.
